Revi Bikes Cheetah Pro — Product Description
The Revi Bikes Cheetah Pro is the higher-performance version of Revi's café racer fat tire e-bike, built for riders who want more power, more range, and a more refined ride than the standard Cheetah. Here's what sets it apart and how to decide whether the Pro is worth the step up.
Power and range. The Cheetah Pro runs a 48V 750W rated motor with up to 1700W peak output, giving it noticeably stronger acceleration and hill-climbing than the standard Cheetah. Its battery is a 48V 30Ah Samsung lithium-ion pack — a dual-battery design (two 15Ah packs) holding about 1440 watt-hours, nearly double the standard Cheetah's capacity. That supports a 60–100 mile range per charge. As with any e-bike, real range depends on rider weight, terrain, throttle use, and assist level: expect closer to 60 miles with throttle-heavy riding and toward 100 with steady pedal assist. A full recharge takes 4–6 hours with the included 48V 5A charger.
Torque sensor — the key upgrade. The Pro uses a combined torque and cadence sensor, where the standard Cheetah uses cadence only. A torque sensor measures how hard you're actually pedaling and delivers power proportionally, so assist feels natural and responsive — it amplifies your effort rather than switching on at a fixed rate. For many riders this is the single biggest reason to choose the Pro: the ride feels like a powerful bicycle rather than a throttle scooter. A twist throttle and five levels of pedal assist are also on hand when you want effortless power.
Suspension and comfort. The Cheetah Pro adds an air suspension fork, a meaningful upgrade over basic coil forks: air suspension is lighter, more tunable to your weight, and smoother over bumps. Paired with 26" x 4.0" Kenda fat tires, a long leather saddle, and swept café racer geometry, it delivers a stable, upright, comfortable ride across pavement, sand, and gravel. At 105 lbs, this is a heavy, substantial bike — worth planning for if you'll need to lift it or load it onto a rack.
Stopping power. Braking comes from Tektro E3940 four-piston hydraulic disc brakes with large 203mm rotors front and rear. This is a serious braking system — the four-piston calipers and oversized rotors provide strong, fade-resistant stopping power that matches the bike's higher speed and weight, and a clear step up from the two-piston brakes on most e-bikes in this class.
Drivetrain. A Shimano 7-speed drivetrain with a 44T crank and KMC anti-rust chain lets you maintain a comfortable pedaling cadence across changing terrain and speeds.
Riding class and where you can ride. The Cheetah Pro is a high-performance e-bike capable of speeds above the standard Class 3 limit. Many areas restrict where higher-speed e-bikes can be ridden — often limiting them to private property or specific roadways rather than bike paths and multi-use trails. Check your state and local e-bike laws before riding to understand where this bike is permitted.
Safety and capacity. The Cheetah Pro is certified to UL 2849 (full e-bike electrical system) and UL 2271 (battery) — the two standards that matter most for e-bike fire safety, and increasingly required by apartment buildings and municipalities. The 6061 aluminum alloy frame supports a 400 lb maximum load, leaving room for a passenger or cargo within the bike's design limits.
Cheetah vs. Cheetah Pro — which to choose. Choose the standard Cheetah if you want classic café racer style for relaxed city and beach cruising at a lower price. Step up to the Pro if you want meaningfully more power and range, a natural torque-sensor ride feel, air suspension, and four-piston brakes — and if your local rules allow higher-speed e-bike riding where you intend to ride.
