Built to carry. The MAX-CARGO 2.0's defining feature is its 440 lb total payload capacity and extended longtail rear deck. That's enough to carry a passenger, multiple bags of groceries, or child seats and cargo accessories, making it a genuine alternative to short car trips. The long rear platform accepts a range of cargo accessories — seats, baskets, and bags — so you can configure it for school runs, errands, or work hauling.
Power for loads. The MAX-CARGO 2.0 runs a 48V 750W rear hub motor with 70 N·m of torque — tuned to get a loaded bike moving and keep it going on moderate hills. Carrying cargo demands more from a motor than solo riding, and the 750W system provides confident, steady power for everyday hauling. A 0–5 level pedal-assist system lets you choose how much help you want.
Range. The bike comes with a 48V 14Ah Samsung battery, with an optional second battery (15Ah or 17Ah) available. With the dual-battery setup, range reaches 80+ miles per charge. With the standard single battery, expect meaningfully less — and as with any e-bike, real range depends on cargo and rider weight, terrain, and assist level. Carrying heavy loads or climbing hills will reduce range, so riders who haul regularly or cover long distances should consider the second battery.
Stable, accessible ride. The 24" x 2.4" Kenda tires and lower deck height keep the bike's center of gravity low and stable — important when carrying cargo or a passenger — while making it easy to mount, load, and maneuver. The bike fits riders from approximately 5'2" to 6'1". At 85 lbs, this is a heavy bike by design; it's built to stay planted under load rather than to be lifted or carried.
Stopping and control. Hydraulic disc brakes provide the strong, consistent stopping power a loaded cargo bike needs. A CDC6 display shows speed, battery, and assist level at a glance.
Riding class and where you can ride. The MAX-CARGO 2.0 is configured as a Class 3 e-bike but ships speed-limited to 20 MPH. Class 3 e-bikes are permitted in many areas but restricted in others — some bike paths and trails limit higher-class e-bikes. Check your state and local e-bike laws before riding to confirm where it's permitted, especially if you'll be riding with a passenger.
Safety. The MAX-CARGO 2.0 is UL certified for e-bike and battery safety — an important consideration for a bike often stored and charged at home, and one carrying precious cargo.
